Pastor's Books

Why these books were written, and how to get them

Books by our pastor, Dr. Dong Hyun Cho, telling one story that begins in Eden and is completed in the New Jerusalem, written for pastors and lay leaders.

Why these books

Why do Sunday faith and Monday life so often come apart? That question is where this writing began.

The Bible is not sixty-six scattered stories but one story that begins in Eden and is completed in the New Jerusalem. Within that story, the mission of God’s people becomes clear.

These books grow out of the author’s doctoral dissertation on the church’s mission from the perspective of Eden restored (Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, 2023). They put academic ideas into plain language and pair them with a small-group study guide, so churches can read, discuss, and live it out together.

It is adapted from the author’s doctoral dissertation for pastors and lay leaders.

A Church Awaiting Fulfillment, Not Escape — A Critique of Dispensational Interpretation

Many Christians have been taught that God has two peoples and that the church will be rescued from the world before the final tribulation. This book asks whether that is what the Bible actually teaches. It traces dispensationalism through its classical, revised, and progressive forms and tests each against the biblical storyline. From Eden to the New Jerusalem, Scripture speaks of one covenant people with one hope. The church is not waiting to escape; it is waiting for God to finish what he began.
